9 OCT 2024- At approximately 18:15 hrs, Engines 1, 2 and Tower Ladder 1 were dispatched for a local alarm sounding with the smell of smoke in the building. Car 1 arrived less than a minute later and stated he had a smoke condition on the first floor. Companies quickly arrived and extinguished the small rubbish fire without causing any major damage.... Lt Freitas of Tower Ladder 1, who is a nextdoor neighbor, and off-duty Police Officer R.
